Halloween Fun

We had so much fun carving pumpkins with the grandkids. Kierra enjoyed eating the seeds more than anything else.

Our day in the mountains

We got up early and got to the mountain rim just as the sun was rising hoping to see some elk. We drove around most of the morning and didn't see anything but a few squirrels. The boys jumped out and chased them up trees and shot at them with the pellet gun. Colten and Caleb had fun with Dads help at the end pushing over a dead tree. We hiked around on a big bunch of rocks and tumbled some smaller ones down the canyon. Roasted hot dogs and marshmallows were had by all for lunch. They finally got a squirrel after lunch. On the way home we ended up seeing 2 elk and 2 raccoons, all of which were dead on the side of the roads.
